The Pale Figures Revisions

Contest

I saw an ad posted on our school bulletin board about a logo contest for this band called The Pale Figures. I typically don't use literal illustrations for a logo but since they are making t-shirts out of it, might as well make it functional and look like you actually would want to wear it ;)

For the font choice, I used impact and manipulated the bottom portion and used the gradient tool to get that blending effect. As for the pimped out letter "P" it's illustrated in Photoshop and I used different styles of the layer tool. And also, there are different variations in terms of colors for this piece.

I will be posting a couple of photographs in due time.

Glessner House Museum

This is a preliminary logo design I am working on for Glessner House Museum. The first project for corporate identity. The vision statement is taken out from their website where you can see the logo they are using at the moment as well (click here).

Edgebrook School

My brother asked if I could make a logo for their school's basketball team. I came up with this logo design after several sketches and a bit of research done. They have the eagle as their logo for several years and I wanted to incorporate something similar yet modern this time around.

All done in Illustrator CS2. The task was to come up with a name and company of your choice and make a logo for marketing and merchandises. Since most of my colleagues decided that they will be working with apparel lines and cosmetic products, I took a huge step of pursuing a camera company and all things related to it. With a given amount of time, I was lucky enough to illustrate the camera to the best of my abilty before the deadline.
